Aerobics are a Useful Addition to your Natural Exercise program
Aerobics are a useful sweat and endurance producer. They don’t typically do much to develop whole-body strength, but for cardio and endurance development, aerobics are a useful addition to one’s natural exercising routine. There are plenty to choose from nowadays, and the key to getting the full benefit, as with any exercise system, is to always put forth a full effort. Squeeze every possible muscle to fullest contraction, breathe as hard and deeply as you can (but keep your breathing controlled), and when doing moves that involve reaching, really stretch and reach as hard and far as you can.
Often the aerobics instructor on the video will move quickly, and I have noticed people tend to not keep up with the pace, thereby missing moves throughout the video. Try not to do that. Strive to keep up with the instructor, because after all, you are developing endurance and cardio here, not strength. While you strive to keep up with the instructor’s pace, maintain proper form as much as possible. Don’t get sloppy just because you are moving fast.
