Dancing Cannot be Overrated!




Dancing is a wonderful, fun exercise. There are so many ways to exercise via dancing. For a great couples dance routine, try West Coast Swing or the Tango. Solo, you have a lot more options.

Break dancing and all of its components (popping, locking, breaking, gliding, liquidation) are great exercises, and incredibly fun. I don’t care if you think you are too old to get into something like this, if you have seen it before and thought, “wow, that’s awesome!” then you should try it! Either join a local bboy club, or buy some DVDs that show you how to do these moves—or heck, start a club of your own!

Learning these skills goes perfectly with things like Muscle Control and Martial Arts because you gain a greater control and more fluid movement of your body. Plus, it’s just really fun! If you are a newbie to dancing, don’t hold the mindset that you have to compete with others. This can quickly destroy your ambitions to train. Just learn the moves with one mindset: to have a BLAST!
