Open your mind to possibilities and feel free to examine various diets, as long as you stick to the principle of keep it natural, keepin' it real. This means whatever diet plan you decide to try out, it must consist of only natural foods. Any diet that has you munching on low-fat or low-carb brownies is still junk! An example of a natural diet is the Atkins diet of the 70s, when it first came out. The modern Atkins diet is compromised by scores of low-carb products that mimic sweets. I did great on a natural low-carb diet, but when I started to consume low-carb bars or diet sodas more frequently, I'd usually feel sick. As a side note, if you do decide to go on a low-carb diet, you must educate yourself on how insulin works and what high levels of insulin do to your body--it's really eye-opening. It will give you a better appreciation for the need to avoid sugar and starch (only occasionally is still ok).
Forget Calories Diet Here is an interesting diet gaining popularity. It recommends natural foods, with an emphasis on three unique food groups: those that are known to make the brain feel "satisfied" (not hungry) quickly, those that are low-carb, prompting your body to use up its fat cells for fuel because no carbs (glycogen) are available, and those that "cost" your body more energy to burn up (thus called "fat-reducing foods"). If you do decide to give this diet a try, please do give me a holler and let me know 1) how well you adhered to the program and 2) your exact results.

Tajin Seasoning
Granted, eating plain vegetables, fruit, and meat can get a little bland. It's good to add sauces with a good amount of protein and/or fat, such as buttery sauces, but that cannot be eaten with everything. Tajin is a seasoning that is made purely from Chili, Salt, and dehydrated Lime juice. I bought it at Walmart the other day and was floored. I LOVE IT! This is not a BS endorsement, I am NOT getting paid to say this. I DO eat Tajin on EVERYTHING! I put it on all of my veggies, all of my fruit, and all of my meat! Its perfect because it goes with ANYTHING. This is a FREE recommendation from me, just because I realllly like this product. It's a great addition to your natural foods diet! Pick it up at a Walmart store in the produce section, or visit the website above (I think you can order it from their website, though I have not tried to do that so I can't say if it is easy to order thru the website or not). They are based in Mexico, and most of their website is in Spanish, so that might be a little confusing. Don't give up, though, until you find this product, because I am telling you, I put it on EVERYTHING! All fruits, meats, and veggies taste a lot better with this stuff. Muy Excellenté! There are several different seasonings; I have NOT tried them all. The one that I eat with everything is Tajin Polvo, which actually is a seasoning for fruit, but it tastes great on ANY natural food, really!
